Imam Husain is the symbol of universal peace and an ambassador of humanity

Eminent senior journalist Kuldeep Nayyar stated that a helpless six month old child can be killed by a person who is a fierce enemy of humanity and the army of Yazid committed such a dastardly atrocity.
By calling Imam Husain as the symbol of universal peace and an ambassador of humanity, he quoted Mahatma Gandhi:
“If we had bravehearts like the companions of Imam Husain during the struggle for independence of India, we wouldn’t have taken so much of time for achieving independence.”
He also gave reference of the quotes of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Radha krishnan, Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru and Sarojni Naidu praising the personality and sacrifice of Imam Husain.
While presenting his views on the occasion, chairman of Bharatiya Sant Samaj, Acharya Shri Pramod Krishnji Maharaj stated that mankind cannot find a better example than Imam Husain as a savior of humanity. He also said that a follower of Imam Husain can never be a terrorist. He further stated that for the upliftment of the society and to spread the message of peace, India needs infinite number of followers of Imam Husain.
The vice chairman and spokesperson of All India Muslim Personal Law board Maulana Kalbe Sadiq stated that 1400 years ago when humanity was being hacked to death under Yazid, Imam Husain saved humanity by sacrificing himself, his sons and all his companions by rising against him. He further stated that probably that’s the reason why Mahatma Gandhi used to say that Islam has spread so rapidly in the world not on the basis of threat of sword but by the lofty principles and impeccable personality of Imam Husain.
Throwing light on the role of women in Islam, Director of Department of Islamic Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr. Akhtar-ul-Wasey gave the example of Hazrat Zainab, the sister of Imam Husain. He said that after the battle of Karbala, the lofty character of Imam Husain was actually exemplified and propagated by Hazrat Zainab who took over the reins of the caravan of Imam Husain. He said that the leading lady from the household of Holy Prophet, Hazrat Zainab played a significant role in reviving and saving Islam.
The chairperson of the conference, Maulana Obaidullah Azmi said that every peace loving person
loving in this world respects the sacrifice, principles and personality of Imam Husain. He urged the peace loving people not to surrender before injustice and tyranny. He said that the ruins of erstwhile Yazid’s palace still a trash pit in the city of Damascus. This is a proof that every tyrant is brought to justice. On the contrary the grandeur of Imam Husain and his mausoleum is high and lofty.
This is inspite of the fact that Imam Husain has given countless examples of humanity to the mankind.
The occasion was attended by respected and well known guests like Justice Shri Nazim Zaidi, senior journalist and historian of Hindi literature Dr. Ranjan Zaidi,  Shri Hasan Khan, MLA (Kargil), Shrimati Zohra Chatterjee (IAS), Shri Hasan Shuja, Maulana Zafarul Hasan Jaipuri, and Haider Kamal etc. ________________________________________________

       भाई जनार्दन मिश्र जी !        मुझे अपनी प्रशंसा कभी अच्छी नहीं लगी. यह अतिशियोक्ति है, हज़म नहीं हुयी. कारण भी हैं.          शेरलॉक होम्स (1887) ब्रिटिश लेखक और चिकित्सक आर्थर कॉनन डॉयल का क्रिएटेड फिक्श्नाईट कैरेक्टर है। आर्थर कॉनन डॉयल के लिए शेरलॉक होम्स , उनकी जासूसी कहानियों में 'लंदन के एक गुप्तचरी करने वाले बौद्धिक व कुशल मगर काल्पनिक पात्र के रूप में अपनी भूमिका निभाते हैं. गूगल में भी इसे दिया गया है.          कह सकते हैं कि आर्थर कॉनन डॉयल इस काल्पनिक पात्र को इस ढंग से अपनी कहानियों में लाते रहे मानो वह आज भी जीवित हो, उसके सामने आर्थर कॉनन डॉयल यानि मूल लेखक दूसरी पंक्ति का कोई जासूस महसूस होने लगता है. मुझे भी इस पात्र ने शुरुआतों दिनों में काफी प्रभावित किया था.        अपने शुरुआती दिनों में ही मैं आर्थर कॉनन डॉयल के उपन्यास या कहानियां, और वरिष्ठ उर्दू  कहानीकर इब्ने सफ़ी को जितना पढ़ सकता था, पढ़ा. ये दोनों महान लेखक अपने समय के प्रतीक रहे हैं. मेरठ प्...
